DAY 1: DELHI – AGRA – DELHI

Upon arrival at Delhi Airport, you’ll have the opportunity to freshen up and enjoy breakfast. Afterward, your journey continues to Agra, where you will arrive and have a hearty lunch at a restaurant. Following this, you will explore the iconic Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Then, you’ll return to Delhi, check into your hotel, have dinner, and spend the night.

DAY 2: DELHI – SRINAGAR – PAHALGAM – SRINAGAR

After breakfast, you’ll embark on a drive to Pahalgam, often referred to as the “Valley of Shepherds.” Located at the convergence of streams from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River, Pahalgam (2,130 m) was once a humble shepherd’s village, offering breathtaking views. Today, it stands as Kashmir’s premier resort, with a cool climate even in the peak of summer when temperatures do not exceed 25°C. You can take a leisurely stroll or opt for pony rides through the picturesque pine forests to a spot commonly known as Mini-Switzerland (Baisaran). Alternatively, you can engage in sightseeing in Pahalgam, visiting attractions like Betaab Valley, Chandanwari, and Aru Valley. Betaab Valley, in particular, is named after the popular Bollywood film “Betaab,” featuring Sunny Deol and Amrita Singh. This valley is surrounded by lush green meadows, snow-covered mountains, and dense vegetation. Chandanwari, situated 16 kilometers from Pahalgam, serves as the starting point for the annual yatra (pilgrimage) in the month of Sawan (July to August). The road from Pahalgam to Chandanwari is relatively flat and can be covered by car. Later, you’ll visit Aru, located approximately 12 kilometers from Pahalgam, upstream from the Lidder River. Renowned for its scenic meadows, lakes, and mountains, Aru serves as a base camp for treks to Kolohoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The peaceful ambiance and natural beauty of the Aru Valley make it a popular destination among tourists. You will spend the night in a Royal Houseboat or hotel.

DAY 3: SRINAGAR – GULMARG – SRINAGAR

In the morning, following breakfast, you will head to Gulmarg, known as the “Meadow of Flowers,” located at an altitude of 2,730 meters and 56 kilometers from Srinagar. Gulmarg is often referred to as the “Switzerland of India” and is famous for being a ski resort with the world’s highest 18-hole golf course. Its legendary beauty, strategic location, and proximity to Srinagar have made it one of Asia’s premier hill resorts. Originally known as ‘Gaurimarg’ among shepherds, Gulmarg was discovered in the 16th century by Sultan Yusuf Shah, who was captivated by its grassy slopes adorned with wildflowers. Today, Gulmarg is not only known for its exceptional natural beauty but also for being the country’s top ski resort during the winter months when it is covered in snow. You can enjoy a leisurely stroll or opt for pony rides (available for an additional fee) across the green meadows to visit one of the world’s highest golf courses or experience an exciting Gondola ride. With the introduction of the Gondola Cable Car, Gulmarg has become the highest ski resort in the world with a downhill ski run of 5.2 kilometers, starting from a height of 14,000 feet in the Apharwat range. It also boasts the longest gondola-served ski lift in Asia. You will spend the night in a Royal Houseboat or hotel.

DAY 4: SRINAGAR – SONMARG – SRINAGAR

After an early breakfast, you will depart for Sonamarg, situated at an altitude of 2,730 meters. Sonamarg, known as the “Meadow of Gold,” is characterized by snowy mountains against a vivid blue sky as its backdrop. The Sindh River meanders through the valley, offering excellent opportunities for trout and mahseer fishing. You can also hire ponies for a trip to Thajiwas Glacier, a major local attraction during the summer months. After exploring Sonamarg, you will return to Srinagar and spend the night in a Royal Houseboat or hotel.
